School Holiday Workshop
If you are looking for something cool for your kids to do this coming holidays, then look no further. The Mauao Performing Arts Centre proudly presents our Holiday Programme.
Basic running times are as follows:
9:00am - 10:30am
Meet & greet, intro games, name games.
General music knowledge activities.
Beat/rhythm/tempo/dynamics/structure etc.
Listening skill /movement.
10:30 am - 11:00am
Break/morning tea.
11:00am - 1:00pm
More specifics, voice – techniques/ skills/ performance tips etc.
Vocals & body percussion.
Song writing.
1:00pm - 1:45pm
Break/lunch.
1:45pm - 3:00pm
Choir work/performance skills.
Learn a variety of songs of different styles to incorporate what the children were focusing on earlier in the day. Singing in a group, singing Acapella, including body percussion, arranging songs of their choice etc
The cost is only $60 per day and runs for the second week of the school holidays!
