TOTARA ST is an unrivaled, multi-functional entertainment venue located in the heart of Mount Maunganui. Founded in 2015, TOTARA ST has played host to some of New Zealand’s most prestigious artists and entertainers. From hosting shows such as Hollie Smith and Head Like a Hole, to being readily available for birthday parties and corporate functions, the beauty of the space is that it can be manipulated to suit any event organiser's wishes. The room is equipped with a beautiful Martin Audio sound system, solid in house lighting rig, two licensed bars, commercial kitchen, mezzanine floor, and excellent sight lines to the stage. Whatever your focus is, our events team can tailor an event package to suit all the needs of your clientele.

Kiwi icon's The Jordan Luck Band are packing the van and heading off on an NZ Summer Road Trip…from Dec 27th to Jan 5th the band will be taking all the classic Exponents hits across the country.
Elektro NYE
Elektro NYE brings you one of the heaviest line ups to hit Totara Street this year. After a massive year, we've picked out something special to hit the Mount with this New Years. From some of the best known Trap & Dubstep artists to NZ's favourite Bass House and Drum & Bass acts, we pushed further to land UK star Sub Zero with his legendary D&B history and bringing over Mood Swing & Chevy Bass from Ausi to bring in a new era of genre bending electronic bass music. Following up these Keytar stars, is NZs Denver based galactic funk star K+Lab. K+Lab has tackled a massive year hitting countless global festivals with Keytar in hand.
Racing Summer Tour
Auckland-based tropicalia groove maestros Racing are back on the road this summer for an onslaught of shows across the nation, and are being joined by blues rock 60s & 70guitar wranglers Mini Simmons (for selected dates only).
Marlin's Dreaming - Summer Tour 19/20
Similar to the migrating patterns of the bar-tailed Godwit - or KuaKua - Marlin’s Dreaming will leave its prickly nest in December to embark on a national summer tour, visiting Aotearoa’s agrarian towns and middling cities.

End of Year Student Concert | That's a wrap
And that is a wrap team... 2019 done and dusted. Everyone jumped up on stage yesterday and smashed it out of the park. It is not easy getting up in front of a venue full of people and putting it out there. We are so proud of all of MauaoPAC's students for a very entertaining afternoon @ TOTARA ST.
L.A.B sell out three back to back shows!
For the first time since TOTARA ST's inception we have three back to back shows with the same artist. Almost like a mini residency so to speak! L.A.B are bringing some serious heat to the table this April with three sold out shows back to back. Hailing from the Bay of Plenty, the locals are coming out to play. Tickets sold in record time and everyone who snagged one is in for a very special treat, this band has been on a steady rise after releasing their first self titled album in November 2017.
