TOTARA ST is a multi-functional entertainment venue located in the heart of Mount Maunganui.
The facilities at TOTARA ST are used for a number of different events, workshops, and corporate functions. Having the ability to set the room up for an intimate vibe with 30 people, or open both levels and house over 400 patrons is what sets us apart from the rest. Founded in 2015, TOTARA ST has played host to some of New Zealand’s most prestigious artists and entertainers. From hosting shows with L.A.B and Xavier Rudd, to being readily available for birthday parties and corporate functions, the beauty of the space is that it can be manipulated to suit any event organiser's wishes. From emerging onto the NZ scene as an introspective singer-songwriter, years of experience, opportunities, and evolution have seen Dan grow and expand into something bigger and bolder; a sound that captures a timelessness, while sounding modern and fresh.
With multiple NZ tours under his belt, Dan has appeared at some of the country’s biggest festivals, opened for the likes of Dave Dobbyn and UB40, as well as selling out headline shows across New Zealand as well as in London. His debut album comes this April by way of Tenfold Records.

Brazilian group returns to New Zealand!
Known for their celebrated 2013 performance at WOMAD, Camerata Caipira returns to play at the CubaDupa Festival and embark on a mini tour across the North Island. Showcasing the unique viola caipira (traditional ten-steel-string guitar), cavaquinho (the ukulele’s cousin), and acoustic 7-string guitars alongside rich percussion, the five-piece folk group fuses traditional rhythms with contemporary arrangements of strings, vocals, and earthy rhythms to celebrate the diversity of Brazilian music. Fronted by Isabella Rovo, who lived in Wellington for 2 years and led music groups and events during her busy stay, Camerata Caipira has released two albums, including a kid’s title focusing on Brazilian fauna to promote awareness about endangered species.

Their aggressively DIY ethos has endeared them to many in the New Zealand Hip-Hop music scene, and they have cemented their place in history as one of the country's most authentic, uncompromising acts. After a sold-out number 1 reissue in 2023, Home Brew released a new album of new material on December 8 which also went number 1.

This upcoming 8 date tour is in celebration of Matariki, the Māori New Year and to showcase Rei’s latest album Ariki. Traveling through Aotearoa, from Tāmaki to Te Wai Pounamu, Rei can’t wait to share his waiata kanikani (dance music) and party with the people.
His last tour was for his award-winning album ‘The Bridge’. Always in mahi hard mode, Rei has dropped 3 new albums since then, played across the world, won 3 Māori music awards, earning millions of streams and radio hits since this tour… but nothing beats performing to your home country.
