Founded in 2015, TOTARA ST has played host to some of New Zealand’s most prestigious artists and entertainers. From hosting shows such as Hollie Smith and Head Like a Hole, to being readily available for birthday parties and corporate functions, the beauty of the space is that it can be manipulated to suit any event organiser's wishes. The room is equipped with a beautiful Martin Audio sound system, solid in house lighting rig, two licensed bars, commercial kitchen, mezzanine floor, and excellent sight lines to the stage. It is with great excitement that the team at Bay Originals presents this one off-show as the finale to Dan Sharp's nation-wide Water Went Away Tour. Since having performed at the first two Bay Originals, Dan has performed all over New Zealand, from mainstage festival slots at Rhythm and Vines and Soundsplash, to his own headline shows, including sold out performances in Wellington, Dunedin and Auckland.
Smokefreerockquest is New Zealand’s only nationwide, live, original music, youth event. Now in its 33rd year, the series of over 40 events reaches audience numbers in excess of 10,000 every year. Founded in 1989 by music teachers Glenn Common and Pete Rainey, Smokefreerockquest has now become a New Zealand institution.

Courtney Barnett - (Solo)
Courtney Barnett announces she will be undertaking a solo tour around Aotearoa this July, in her first live shows in over 12 months. Having been grounded in 2020 care of the global pandemic, Barnett made the best of a bad situation and wrote and recorded a new record. That drops later this year, but before it does the maestro is touring her solo show to all corners of Aotearoa – a country she's adored touring in the past and a place she considers herself lucky to have the opportunity to return to.
