TOTARA ST is an unrivaled, multi-functional entertainment venue located in the heart of Mount Maunganui. The facilities at TOTARA ST are used for a number of different events, workshops, and corporate functions. Having the ability to set the room up for an intimate vibe with 20 people, or open both levels and house over 400 patrons is what sets us apart from the rest. Founded in 2015TOTARA ST has played host to some of New Zealand’s most prestigious artists and entertainers. From hosting shows such as Hollie Smith and Head Like a Hole, to being readily available for birthday parties and corporate functions, the beauty of the space is that it can be manipulated to suit any event organiser's wishes. The room is equipped with a beautiful Martin Audio sound system, solid in house lighting rig, two licensed bars, commercial kitchen, mezzanine floor, and excellent sight lines to the stage. Whatever your focus is, our events team can tailor an event package to suit all the needs of your clientele.

CELEBRO PRESENTS: LEE MVTTHEWS
Lee Mvtthews, aka, Graham Matthews and Tom Lee met in 2012 and started working together after discovering they had a nearly identical taste in music, eventuating in Lee Mvtthews in late 2013. Since then, they’ve gone from strength-to-strength, gaining a reputation for turning out infectious tunes that pair colourful melodies with bass-driven drops.

Students from Papamoa College, Mt College and Bethlehem college put on a concert to showcase their awesome talents!

Since the release of 'The ShockOne EP' in 2009, which featured the chart topping 'Polygon', SHOCKONE has been one of the hottest names in the scene. 'Polygon' received major air-play worldwide with high-rotation play listing on Australia's Triple J radio and Radio 1's Annie Mac penning it as, 'The biggest drum and bass tune out'.

Same Name Confusion are taking their eccentric, high-energy live show across NZ this August/September in celebration of the physical release of their debut EP In Theory.

Pato Entertainment, Audiology Touring & Good Intent presents Bootleg Rascal - 'Yin & Yang' Tour. To celebrate the release of ‘Yin & Yang’ out July 5, Bootleg Rascal will once again hit the road in Australia and New Zealand. The eight date tour will be held across August and September with performances in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Queenstown, Dunedin, Christchurch, Auckland and Tauranga.

Or maybe its cause we're broke, or maybe because we will use any excuse to tour... James Reid - the man behind some of New Zealand’s most beloved songs - announces a nationwide solo tour of 14 intimate venues across Aotearoa. From Whangarei in the north, to Invercargill in the south, James Reid will perform Feelers classics and new solo material.
Electronic Dance Hip Hop Pop

This school holidays we have something very special going down at MauaoPAC! We have the Aotearoa DJ Academy heading back from their base camp in Wellington to teach up a storm to all you budding young producers and DJ's out there. The morning sessions are for the DJ's, and the afternoon sessions are for the production students. You can do either class or take part in both lessons!

New School

It's been a minute but we're stoked to be headed back around the country and across the ditch for a run of shows in November. We're kicking things off with our mates in Auckland, Tauranga and Wellington before heading back to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and then home to Perth.

Eccles Entertainment presents: Ash Grunwald - 'Mojo' NZ Album Release Tour. With special guests - Swamp Thing! Blues maestro Ash Grunwald will play four headline shows across the North Island this November in support of his new album 'Mojo' - out on August 30.

The illustrious end of term student concerts have grown into quite the spectacle over the years. From humble beginnings, the crowd is now 150 strong each show, and TOTARA ST comes alive with the hottest young talent the Bay of Plenty has on offer.

Reggae Rock R&B Soul

For the first time since TOTARA ST's inception we have three back to back shows with the same artist. Almost like a mini residency so to speak! L.A.B are bringing some serious heat to the table this April with three sold out shows back to back. Hailing from the Bay of Plenty, the locals are coming out to play. Tickets sold in record time and everyone who snagged one is in for a very special treat, this band has been on a steady rise after releasing their first self titled album in November 2017.
