Mike Love Returns to the South Pacific for Long-Awaited Tour

First South Pacific Shows in Over Five Years – Plus Western Australia & Bali Debut

Internationally acclaimed Hawaiian roots-reggae artist Mike Love is set to return to the South Pacific for the first time in over five years, bringing his powerful live solo show to Australia, New Zealand, and Bali. Known for his deeply conscious lyrics, masterful live looping, and genre-blending sound, Mike has built a dedicated global following — and this tour marks a major moment for fans across the region.

This tour is particularly special as it includes Mike Love’s first-ever performances in Western Australia and Bali, giving fans in these regions a long-awaited chance to experience his high-energy, transformative live show.

Adding to the excitement, Mike will also be performing songs from his brand-new album, Leaders, for the first time in the South Pacific. With his signature fusion of reggae, folk, rock, and soul, the album explores themes of unity, resilience, and positive change — timely messages for today’s world.

Joining him for the New Zealand leg are none other than Masaya, one of Aotearoa’s most exciting emerging acts.

About Masaya
Emerging from the salt-kissed shores of Whāingaroa (Raglan), Masaya is a powerful musical force blending soulful melodies, rootsy rhythms, and honest storytelling. Formed in 2019 by siblings Kaea and Reiki Ruawai, and longtime friend Muroki, the group first turned heads with their debut EP Tongue & Groove, offering a fresh take on Aotearoa’s rich roots and soul scene.

After Muroki branched off to pursue a solo career, Kaea and Reiki continued to evolve the Masaya sound — diving deeper into groove-driven rhythms, tight arrangements, and heartfelt lyricism. Their debut full-length album, Chronicles of Youth, is a coming-of-age soundtrack weaving reggae, funk, soul, and surf rock into a uniquely coastal Kiwi experience.

With a reputation for high-energy live shows and a kaupapa of connection and authenticity, Masaya has toured across Aotearoa and Australia, playing festivals, headline shows, and community events that move both body and spirit.

At its core, Masaya is about unity — of sound, of culture, and of youth navigating the waves of life.
