Join us for Mauao Performing Arts Centre's School Holiday Music Programme | Hall Of Fame Musicians
This fun, educational programme will strengthen your child's understanding of rhythm, sight reading, instruments, and performance. Each day will include a fun arts and crafts, plus hands-on, interactive opportunities to play pianos, ukuleles, guitars, drum kits, bass, box drums, accordion, MIDI keyboard, looping pedals, and much more!
Leading the programme is our team of highly qualified Music Tutors with 30 years of combined experience. Fun, engaging, and educational, this music jam requires no prior musical experience. Just come on down, have fun, learn, and create! Space is very limited, so enrol your child today to secure your spot!
2026 Term 3 Holiday Programme Schedule:
Monday - Guitar
Tuesday - Piano/ keyboard
Wednesday - Vocal
Thursday - Percussion drums
Come along for four fun-filled days of music, creativity and making some noise! Each day introduces children to a different instrument through beginner-friendly activities, games, songs and hands-on learning. No previous experience needed, just bring your curiosity and get ready to have fun! At 2:00pm–2:15pm, parents and whānau are invited to join us for an optional mini-performance where students can show off what they’ve learned that day.No pressure to perform students can participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable with. It’s simply a fun way to celebrate their day of music!
Details:
We ask each child to bring their own morning tea, lunch box, and water bottle. We ask that if your child has any serious allergies (i.e. peanuts) or medical diagnoses (i.e. seizures, neuro-divergence), please let us know by adding a note in the ticket purchasing process and/or emailing admin@mauaopac.co.nz
