'Summer Comedy' has become a legacy event in the Mount Maunganui summer calendar with it now celebrating its 10th year! Two nights of guaranteed great times at the best live venue in the country, Totara Street.

This year featuring ZM's Hayley Sproull as the headline act, Hayley is the hottest stand up in the country right now having sold out her national tour in 2026 and has extensively toured Australia, everyone is jumping on board Sproull-a-mania. In support will be the Alternative Commentary Collective's and father of four, Tony Lyall who established himself as one of the busiest comics in New Zealand. Known for his kiwi, everyman delivery, Tony is probably just happy to get out of the house. The night will be MC'd by master of crowd work and Bay of Plenty Local, Ben Hurley.
