Initiate Annual Ball

Welcome to Initiate’s Winter Wonderland annual ball. A night of glitz, glamour, and dancing. Join us for the biggest event on the Initiate calendar. With the best acoustic and DJs in the Bay setting the scene for the night, make sure you come ready to dance the night away!

THEME: Winter Wonderland. We will be dressing up the venue with all things wintery. Dress code for the night is black tie. Think blues, greens, whites, silvers, and golds.
FOOD: Canapes will be served throughout the night.

We are super excited about this year’s ball as we will be donating 100% of the proceeds from this special event to the Voices of Hope organisation working alongside the guys from the Aotearoa Bowls Club. These guys are taking on the massive challenge of driving from London to Ulan Ude, Russia, via Mongolia in a car with an engine no bigger than 1 litre while raising awareness and funds for VOH. What a task!

For those who don’t know about this amazing organisation, Voices of Hope was founded in 2014 by Genevieve Mora and Jazz Thornton. Both being mental illness survivors, their mission is to provide hope for those struggling with mental health issues by promoting mental well-being, empowerment and recovery. They do this by creating videos that target mental illness issues as well as writing blog posts on different topics.
