Their passion for the speak-easy era matched with a fresh 21st century twist brings sassy entertainment to a whole new level. A risque performance, classy and entertaining!

Kong Fooey - Their first gig was at the Christchurch Beer Festival playing for 12,000 people before Supergroove hit the stage. They then moved on to play Sounds on the Oval with Trinity Roots, Tiki Taane, Black Seeds and David Dallas.
Kong Fooey is the alter ego of drummer/producer Jason Peters, formerly of 90’s rock legends. Looking for a new start and a new musical direction after the upheavals of the Christchurch earthquakes, in October 2011 Peters relocated to Auckland, and used his knowledge of beats and percussion to create their groove-heavy sound.
“With the release of his new full-length album Feel the Love, Peters continues to build himself as one of dance music’s more exciting name. He flips seamlessly between neo-soul, funk, and vibrant electro, roping it all together with an irresistible energy.”

Mamadafunk - Joining us all the way from Nelson, Mamadafunk is the mother of eclectic, multi-genre sets. Born and raised in the (UK) funk and disco scene, later influenced by the early 90’s rave culture, Mamadafunk was always destined to bring her own styles to the DJ booth. Now Mamadafunk enjoys pumping out the funky beats in bars, parties and festivals with a passion that is infectious and always fun! She loves to curate sets that take you on a soulful journey, often with humour and rhetoric, weaving together eclectic, musical selections that guarantee a magical dance floor moment for all tastes.

Jimmy Fresh - Jimmy Fresh is James Stanbridge: artist, designer, photographer and now, DJ. An avid rave addict, Fresh is no longer content to just be on the dance floor, he’s now stepping up to lead it. Jimmy Fresh has emerged out of the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, where he is an established creative personality.
His good taste and technical skills as an artist have been honed through many creative phases. He’s now intently focused on bringing his unique and innovative approach to your eardrums.
There’s no wack stuff here. Stanbridge focuses on finesse and infusing his sound with his creative flair and subtlety. Jimmy is a hands-on presence at the decks – tweaking here, cutting there, adding here. He generously seasons his mixes with spicy bass and sweet melodies that will tingle your senses.
James has an insatiable desire for novelty and the “new”, always striking out into the darkness in search of those treasure tunes. And, he finds them. He wants nothing more than to share them with you.
This is the Jimmy Fresh Experience.
